Warriors are going to have a Saturday mornings spring basketball camp to help players improve skills. The two hour workout will include basketball fundamentals along with intense game play. After the workout, there will be spiritual conditioning with a discipleship session.
Players that qualify will be asked to play in tournaments and attend the OBU team camp with 50+ teams (June 27-30) - (Additional costs will apply for each event)
Open to all homeschoolers age 15 and up who would like to improve their BB game and are not afraid to work hard.

Cost: $5/week or $50 for season

Conditioning/Tryout Camp
Dates: Sept: Wed 5, Mon 10, Wed 12, Mon 17, Wed 19 Location Houston Volleyball Training 7:00am - 9:00am Boys ages 15 - 18 Center, 1310 W. Sam Houston Parkway North, Houston TX 77043
9:00 am - 11:00 am Boys ages 10 - 14 (On east side of Beltway 8 north of I-10)
Cost: $45 (Siblings $5 off)
The camps will be directed by the HCYA Warriors Basketball Coaches.
* * * All non-HCYA members are required to join HCYA and pay a one time $15 fee per child, Membership forms can be downloaded at HCYA.org
* * * For People who have not been through tryouts before, it is all 5 days.

HCYA News: HS Blue wins over South Shaver 52-46

Anonymous writes "Blue had a well played game against South Shaver Baptist (the first team that HCYA ever played). South Shaver had two guards that carried their team and we had to make adjustments to shut them down.
