Jesse sanders

Jesse played for HCYA for 13 years before going on to play college basketball at Liberty University. 

His accomplishments include:

High School:

HCYA team ranked 2nd in the entire state of texas (2012), 2-time Homeschool National Championship and National Championship MVP (2007, 2008); State Championship in 2008

named to the Home School National All-American team as a sophomore


Big South Conference Player of the Year (2011) Liberty University, Finished 2nd in the nation in assists Division-1 (2011), Only player in NCAA Division-1 history to record a triple-double in all four years of collegiate play;

At Liberty, Sanders was a four-year starter at point guard. For his career, he scored 1,235 points (9.7 per game).

He also graduated as the schools all-time assist leader with 726.

In 2011, Sanders was named the Big South Conference Player of the Year and an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press. In the 2011–12 season, his 8.0 assists per game was the third-highest mark in the nation.

Professional: played professional basketball in Italy, Australia, Belgium, Germany, and Portugal
